Welcome to the Brill Show 2026
Brill Show has been running since 1856, making this year our 170th anniversary; a remarkable milestone. The Show is a much-loved village institution and a key event in the Brill calendar in which children and adults from across the Benefice* compete in eight categories: vegetables, flowers, photography, art, baking, woodcraft, sculpture and handicrafts.
Serious competitors and hobby enthusiasts are equally welcome - as are those who simply want to admire the entries and enjoy a cuppa while waiting for the raffle and prize-giving. It’s a traditional, fun, good-natured event; I’d even go so far as to say it's good for the soul!
Brill Show is run by a small group of volunteers. This year we welcome Georgie Russell and Jamie Misselbrook to our committee - and say a heart-felt Thank You to our outgoing Treasurer, Sarah Swan. If you’d like to volunteer or lend a helping hand in the future, please speak to one of the committee.
September seems a long way off but it’s never too early to start nurturing your fruit and vegetables, gathering your photographs and craftwork, and practising favourite recipes and handwriting. We are delighted to announce two new classes this year; a handmade soap and a handmade candle.
Have a look through the schedule here on the website - or pick up a copy from Brill shops over the summer. There really is something for everyone and we love to see new entrants so why not make 2026 the year you get involved?
We look forward to seeing you all on Sunday September 13th in Brill Memorial Hall.
