Brill Parish Meeting 2026

Tuesday May 26th, 7.30pm, Brill Sports & Social Club

The Parish Council is obliged under the Local Government Act of 1972 (Gov.UK website opens in new tab) to hold an annual Parish Meeting. This meeting enables the Council to present a verbal report on activity and achievements in the past 12 months, to consider how funds may be used for the benefit of the community, and to debate local issues of concern. (Although decisions made at an annual Parish Meeting are not binding on the Council, significant matters arising should be added to the agenda of a forthcoming Parish Council meeting.)

Reports from community groups

In Brill, we see the Parish Meeting as an opportunity for the whole community to celebrate the wonderful range of clubs, groups and happenings in Brill - and for the Parish Council to consider ways in which we may support Brill groups who’d like our help, financially or otherwise. We’d therefore really appreciate it if you could supply a brief report of your activities in the past 12 months, using the form below. This won’t take long, we promise! Be as brief or as detailed as you wish and feel free to copy-and-paste from a Chair’s report or similar, if that helps.

NOTE We’ve emailed the groups we know about but if you haven’t received an email, it’s gone to the wrong person - or we’ve missed you altogether, please let us know ASAP.

It’s up to you whether you speak to your report at the meeting. Either way, please submit by the evening of Sunday May 24th so we can collate and print the reports for distribution on the evening. They will also be published here, on the BPC&C website. (Note that reports will include the name and email address of whoever completes the form - unless you stipulate otherwise.)

Last but not least, please could you take two minutes to check your entry in the Clubs & Groups directory on the website - and let us know ASAP if the information is incorrect or incomplete? Thank you.

Everyone welcome!

The Parish Meeting is open to all residents - so do bring along colleagues, friends and neighbours. In previous years we’ve had a speaker presenting on a topic of local interest. We’re still working on this year’s programme; at the very least there will be chance to talk with Parish Councillors and others about the things that matter to us all in Brill.

We look forward to seeing you on the 26th.
